Method: Indirect IF.

Reference Interval: Not detected.

Application: Suspected autoimmune hepatitis.

Interpretation: A titre of >160 is characteristic of autoimmune hepatitis. Lower titres are relatively non-specific and may be found in viral infections (eg infectious mononucleosis, viral hepatitis) and in neoplasia.
