Reference Interval: Not detected.
Application: Diagnosis of autoimmune ovarian dysfunction.
Interpretation: In patients with type 1 polyglandular endocrine syndrome, the
presence of ovarian antibodies is correlated with ovarian failure, however ovarian
antibodies are non-specific and may also be present in Addison’s disease and various
menstrual disorders.
