Method: Indirect IF.

Reference Interval: Qualitative test.

Application: A screening test for predicting insulin dependent diabetes mellitus in the siblings of affected children.

Interpretation: Presence of antibody may precede onset of clinical disease in IDDM, but levels decline subsequently.
