Application: Diagnosis of
Goodpasture syndrome
. Assessment of rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis.
Interpretation: Glomerular basement membrane antibodies are highly predictive
of Goodpasture syndrome; the definitive diagnosis of Goodpasture syndrome requires
renal biopsy with IF.
