| Germ cell tumour | Common sites include testis, ovary and mediastinum. Lesion biopsy. Intraoperative testicular biopsy, with FS, should only be performed in specialist centres and if immediate orchidectomy is possible on diagnosis of malignancy. Useful serum markers include alpha fetoprotein , Human chorionic gonadotrophin (beta subunit) , LD isoenzymes . |
