Method: Indirect IF.

Reference Interval: Qualitative test. Positive is significant.

Application: Investigation of systemic rheumatic disease; diagnosis of CREST syndrome.

Interpretation: Moderately specific, being present in 90% of patients with CREST syndrome. See also ANTINUCLEAR ANTIBODIES .
